Why I am so glad that I am not American: Bill O’Reilly Interviews Atheist Lori Lipman Brown.



Where do they find these loudmouth anchors?

Back to the topic of why I am glad to be Canadian and not American:

● Canadian politicians mostly do not run on the God Platform. Even our obnoxious Regressive Conservative bully of a PM would not have made comments such as those made by Mitt Romney.
● O'Reilly is hypocritical when he whines that atheists 'whine'.
● O'Reilly shouts over Lori Lipman Brown, whereas Canadians wait for the other speaker to finish before speaking themselves. This is polite and it has the added benefit that the audience can actually hear what is being said.
● He rewrites history when he totally misrepresents the position of the Founding Fathers on separation of Church and State.

She makes good points, he troups out the usual ignorant fallacies of logic so beloved of religionists. He exemplifies what used to be referred to as "The Ugly American". Nowadays, they are merely referred to as Conservatives, Republicans, or Fundamentalists.
