So you think you can ice dance

Shae-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz skate to Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor. Note the "North America" comments made because the event was aired on ABC – this pair are Canadian, but the commentators presumably wanted to imply that America shared in the glory. And Americans wonder why American hubris is so disliked around the world!

"Adagio in G minor for strings and organ is a piece arranged by Remo Giazotto (1949) based on the bass line of a slow part of Concerto or Sonata in G minor, composed by Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni, which were found amongst the ruins of the old Saxon State Library, Dresden, which was firebombed by the Allies during
World War II."

The pair who started it all – winning Olympic gold with the famous Bolero routine.

Here's Stringfever's very different rendition of Ravel's Bolero.

Sometimes YouTube disables the 'embed' feature. More often -- especially lately -- YouTube appears to crash, such that a particular video or whole swaths of videos temporarily fail to run.
